We are currently looking for a Potable Water Engineer for our Chicago, IL location. You will be directly involved with projects pertaining to potable water including reports, designs and construction services for intakes; water treatment plants; sludge disposal; reservoirs; transmission and distribution mains; elevated tanks; and pumping stations. 

Performs assignments designed to develop professional working knowledge and abilities. May serve as an on-site project representative. May perform project management or project engineering roles depending on the size of projects. Recommends appropriate actions to ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. May technically guide drafters/designers and less experienced personnel. Moderate to high-level exercise of judgement is required on details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptions of engineering alternatives.

Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in the water and/or wastewater fields and must possess either an E.I.T. or P.E. license. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
