Water/Wastewater Intern

Metcalf and Eddy is currently looking for Interns/Co-ops within our Water/Wastewater Practice. The candidate(s) will have completed at least their second year in a civil or environmental engineering program and will have taken appropriate water or wastewater courses. The intern/co-op will work with a mentor or project engineer/manager and will be required to apply standard engineering techniques and procedures. Must be self-motivated and have effective communication skills.

The primary duties will include assisting with design calculations, drafting technical reports, preparing project drawings and specifications, performing review and analysis of project sites, water and sewer studies for federal, state and local municipalities. Typical projects include water and wastewater treatment, water distribution and wastewater conveyance design.

The Intern/Co-op will have the opportunity to work with some of the best in the water/wastewater industry.
