Job Description AECOM Water (formerly Metcalf & Eddy) is looking to hire a PLUMBING/HVAC MECHANICAL ENGINEER III to support WATER/WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILTY design efforts in our NEW YORK office. This person design and investigates and procures data required to develop a design. Prepares preliminary sketches and/or schematic diagrams. Supervise and coordinate job assignments of entry level designers. Responsible for the Design of Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems for existing and new municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities. Also responsible for shop drawing review, change order preparation and responding to contract PFI's during construction.

Qualifications:

* BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering

* 10+ years of experience designing HVAC and Plumbing systems

* Knowledge of equipment, codes and standards for HVAC and Plumbing design

* Experience in an Architect and/or Engineering firm
