We are searching for a Project Controls Specialist for our St. Paul, MN office. As our Project Controls Specialist you will provide project controls and administrative support for the Design and Construction team. Your responsibilities will include processing design and construction documents (design review comments, contractor submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, etc.), assisting in maintaining the project database and assisting with administration of construction contracts.

This position requires a familiarity with design and construction contract administration processes, cost control and reporting. Tasks include maintaining tracking logs for various design and construction activities and providing proactive follow-up with Client, Contractor, and Consultant staff to ensure the timely completion and accuracy of document reviews and approvals. The successful candidate must be highly organized and detail oriented, independently motivated to work without detailed direction, and sensitive to time frames to ensure required deadlines are met. It is expected that the work will be performed in a fast-paced environment, requiring an ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions.

Requirements of the position include a BS in Construction Engineering/Management (preferred) and 3 - 5 years of experience in the construction/engineering industry; the ability to compile and prepare status reports; knowledge of MS Word, Access & Excel required, Primavera P3 or Microsoft Project helpful. Additional experience can substitute for an engineering degree.
