Senior Traffic Engineer   Education : Civil Engineering degree. Master in Traffic or Transportation Engineering is a plus.   Preferred Skills/Requirements A self motivated individual with a minimum of 5 years experience in traffic engineering, including:         Traffic Studies Experience with data collection, field inventory of traffic devices, analysis of traffic accidents, in-depth knowledge of the MUTCD.         Traffic Operations Analysis Experience in evaluating complex traffic operation such as Bus Rapid and Light Rail Transit system, freeway, surface street system interchange and traffic analysis using SYNCHRO, CORSIM and VISSIM simulation model.In-depth knowledge of the Highway Capacity Manual.         Traffic signal design - Experience in the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates for traffic signal construction. Knowledge of NEMA standards and in-depth knowledge of the MUTCD.         Signal timings - Experience with development and implementation of signal timings, including data collection, time-space diagram development and programming of signal timings. Field experience is a plus.         Geometric Design - Familiarity with the AASHTO Green book and experience with design of at-grade intersections; preparation of preliminary cost estimates for project development.         Project Management - Quality control, documentation, budget control, and consistency in meeting deadlines.         Communications Proven track record in oral and communications.         Professional Engineer License desirable
